And that's probably just the beginning.

While you still have a chunk of money in your pocket, Take your lumps
and get on with life.

Take the loss of what you paid for the boat, write it off and scrap it out.

The loss while probably significant to you at this time, is a whole lot
less than it's going to be if you attempt repairs on this boat.
