Monday December 05, 2005--Forty-eight percent (48%) of American
adults approve of the way George W. Bush is performing his role as
President. That's the President's highest rating since October 8.

What do you attribute the increase to, considering how absolutely
nothing has changed in the past 10 days?

I already listed the reasons in another post last week:

"People care about the stock market hitting a 4 1/2 year high, the
low
unemployment rate, the increased spending on big-ticket manufactured
goods,
the dropping fuel prices, and the improving consumer confidence
numbers."

Things like Joe Lieberman's op-ed piece in the WSJ are just icing on
the cake. ;-)

ROFL!

Did the stock market not just hit a 4 1/2 year high?

Did unemployment numbers not fall again on Friday?

Did consumer retail spending not increase by 22% over the Thanksgiving
weekend?

Did spending on big-ticket manufactured goods not increase over last
year?

Did gas prices not fall by nearly 20% in the last 5 weeks?

Did Lieberman not just write a piece in the WSJ about the improving
conditions in Iraq?

I'm curious as to what is making you ROFL?

How old are your kids?

2 1/2, 4, and 6. And I know where you're going with this. I'd be
concerned too. But sooner or later we're going to have to confront these
maniac Islamic fundamentalists. I'd prefer we do it now before they
obtain nukes.

All the pretty improvements you listed are of no consequence to the
lifespan of your kids. You'd better enjoy them now. It's hard to talk to
them when they're in wooden boxes, which is exactly where they'll be if
our current strategy continues. Uncle Sam wants your babies.

If the current strategy continues, there will be no countries left in the
Middle East that are capable of launching an attack against the United
States...nor willing to employ terrorists as mercenaries in launching a
clandestine war against the United States.

Fight them now, so that we don't have to fight them later.
