Brewers Bay is one bay over from Cane Garden Bay....
It's marked as a no go zone for charter vessels due to a reef in the center.
Lots of room though.

BVI is getting to be like Jamaica.... overrun with Americans bringing the
worst out in the locals.

When I stayed there, I always arranged to visit with local families and
help out with chores, building things, gardening or whatever. I got to go
fishing with them and even managed to supply the local restaurant with
the "catch of the day" occasionally, which would net me a free supper. My
favourite was to set camp at Brewer's and charter fallow. That got me a
variety of vessels for short trips of a day or more at off season rates.
I'd load the boats with folks from the campground who normally wouldn't
have the opportunity or cash to get out sailing. I bring the boat back on
time and clean... so the next charter is easy.

Lots of things had changed on my last trip there.... none of which I
liked.

Heh... How come nobody mentioned the Roti Palace in Road Town. Conch
Rotis with an icy cold beer.
