Lord Reginald Smithers wrote:

Krause has bragged that he was called "Harry the Horse" while being
schooled in Kansas.

Skipper,
That was Harry bragging about the size of his penis.

You know what they say, those that talk about it, probably don't have it.

Oh, it's much worse than that, Sir Reginald. Compare his two statements
below:

On 7/10/97 Harry wrote to the NG:

"Ahh, I remember that one. I don't recall that I responded. Actually, at
college, they called me "Harry the Horse" for reasons I only vaguely
recall as complimentary. At my first post-college job, one of my bosses
called me "Moose" because of an athlete he admired with a similar last
name."

And then on 3/9/2001 he wrote:

"Never made this claim. I have, however, seen in person and up close:
Harry S Truman, Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon, Gerry Ford, Ronald Reagan
and Bill Clinton"

""Having been called "Harry the horse" in college" It actually was
"Harry the Hoss," a nickname given me by a rugby teammate. It stuck
until I went to work for the aforementioned newspaper, where the
assistant city editor renicked me "Moose" Krause. The city editor had
been a famous sports writer until booze did him in, and he knew Edward
Krause."

"Having "the most boating experience of the newsgroup". Never made that
claim, either, Skippypoop, although it may be true in terms of years and
numbers of boats."

Wonder how he reconciles those two statements? They are in the archives
to this day.
