I mentioned before that my wife is jewish. Interestingly, she's the driving
force in our house for shopping for the tree. If I let her have her way,
the tree, a christmas tree, would be in, up, and decorated, before the first
truckload of the season finished unloading. In fact, she doesn't even wait
for me to put up the lights on the house; she lets me take things down, but
she's not about to wait for me to get the decorations going.

It's a christmas tree. They are christmas lights. They are christmas
decorations.

And to make this a boating thread, she wants to take our little boat, add
some christmas lights, and join the parade.
