Is it possible to choose the time & route to cross the Pacific
(from California to Asia or Australia) without encountering
any storm (or with a very small chance of encountering one) ?
I'm not thinking about doing this on a 26' MacGregor but still
would like to be as safe as possible.
I would take a peep in Jimmy Cornell, World Cruising Routes.
In this very useful book you find maps and descriptions that inform
you about the storm seasons anywhere on the globe.
When you want you use your pc: Visual Passage Planner by digwave.com
VPP lets you plan your passage in a smooth way. You enter your
waypoints and VPP generates reports with distance, time needed etc.
It also presents info from historised weather-info for every month of
the year.
