Experience with WAG bags? (portable toilet)

Anyone have experience with the WAGBag system? Looks like a reasonable
approach, but I'm interested in how many "user days" you get out of one
bag. Do you need to use a different bag each day due to odor? Can you
seal the bag and use it a second day? How compact are they when used?
I'm looking to use it with their PETT toilet system on river trips.
Their instructions state:
" Easy to use double-bag system made of a puncture resistant material,
with a locking zip closure. Each waste bag is pre-loaded with non-toxic
Pooh-Powder™, which gels waste, catalyzes decay, and removes odors (no
perfumes). WAG BAG® kits are degradable and are approved for disposal in
landfills."
That seems to indicate that you should be able to unzip it and use it
again, provided - I assume - that there's still unused "Pooh Powder" in it.
Other options a
1 - Bring newspaper with you, crap on it and roll it up, then double bag
it. There should be info about this method online somewhere.
2 - Make a "Poop Tube" from 4" PVC pipe with a screw cap on one or both
ends and throw a couple of handfuls of kitty litter into it. Crap on the
ground, then use a trowel to transfer your feces into the tube
(sprinkling dirt or leaf litter on it first makes the task less
onerous). If you put a screw cap on both ends of the pipe, it's easier
to hose it out.
