Back then we got over US$2 for a pound.
Then we floated our currency and it dropped to more realistic levels.

Unfortunately, we were on the east coast and didn't jump on it. I

Yep, it's a wonderful thing.
My mum bought half a street of vacant land at 2000 quid/block.
She started selling them off when the reached around 30,000 and sold
the last for just over 500,000 about 10 years ago.


Ok, so now we know Ozzy is one of those pesky millionaires...
