It's not history at all. It's b.s. Some right-wing asswipe made such an
accusation, I called him on it, and asked him to produce a URL to the
website he claimed had the photo, and that was the end of that, because
he couldn't do it. Except, of course, his brother asswipe Skipper picked
up the original lie and repeated it about 1000 times so that it became
part of rec.boats history.
