The "Bam" part can be a little tricky. The driveshaft passes through the
gimbal bearing on it's way to the engine coupler, and that tends to be a
sticky spot. I've heard of several ways of unsticking the shaft from the
bearing. The one that worked for me was manually raising the drive up (trim
cylinders removed) and carefully slamming it down against the stop until it
came loose. I had the lower half off at the time, which made it a little
easier to control.
I plan to leave it off the entire winter anything specific i should do to
cover up the "hole" ??
