You watch how NOYB changes his tune if people start taking the

trek to
Mexico for cheap dental care along with a vacation.

You think Mexican water can make you sick? Try putting Mexican

dental
instruments in your mouth!

There are people who go to Mexico for cheap dental care now. I

know,
because I've seen them here after-the-fact to correct the atrocities
committed in their mouths.

Seems he doesn't
have any problem with computer tech jobs going offshore, we'll see

how
it is with offshore medical care. Course, by the time it starts
happening, it will be to late. Lets see Mr High and mighty squeal
when he's competing with Mexican dentists.

I don't do gold jacket crowns on front teeth...so I won't have many

Mexican
competitors.

However, I do have a wealthy Mexican man and his wife who have done

a
little
over $30,000 in dentistry with me. They would fly in almost weekly

from
Cancun for their appointments. The wife had already completed

nearly
that
much work in her mouth while in Mexico. Surprisingly, the work was
first-rate...but the Mexican dentist's fees were higher than mine!

Costa Rica is the hot spot for dental care in the world. First rate,
about 10% what the U.S. money hungry dentists are charging.

I used a lab about 3 years ago that outsourced its crowns to Costa Rica.
The cost of the crowns were half what other labs charged. The first

crown I
got back was beautiful...and the fit was perfect. The next one I got

from
them fit so poorly, I thought they sent me a crown meant for another
patient. I sent it back, and got one back that didn't fit at all. The

lab
apologized and offered to make my next crown at no charge if I'd give

them
another chance. That time, they lost the crown...and then found it a

week
later. I went to put it in, and sure enough, it fit like socks on a
rooster.

When I asked them how the first crown could have been done so well, and

the
other two were below even the lowest standard of quality, this is what

they
told me:

"25% of our crowns are done in the US...and the other 75% are sent to

Costa
Rica. The first one was done at our lab in the US."

I told 'em I wanted 'em all done in the US, and they told me the rate

would
be different.

Their response: "You're on the pot luck plan if you want the lower fee.
Although *some* crowns may be made here, most will go to Costa Rica."

That lab went out of business 2 years ago.

Horse****.

Boy it seemed like 2 years ago. However, I did some checking, and it turns
out that they went out of business in September 2000. I opened in Sept.
1999...so they were around for less than 1 year!
