good boat for your purposes. You'll hear a LOT of derision for

'BeneHuntalina' boats - that's Beneteau, Hunter and Catalina -
they are the major 'production' boat builders, and the main beef
against them is that 'you wouldn't want to sail out of sight of
land in one of them'...... but you said you don't plan to!
Bobsprit has the perfect boat for his style of sailing it
seems. He never sails out of sight of his dock let alone land.
He has NO boat!
