A regell is for spot repair. When the entire finish is shot, go for
paint.

thanks, the bottom isn't in that bad of shape for an old boat. It's a
little rough (from the carpetting/lumber on the carriage it was parked
in) on the underside, but the cracks aren't so bad. Mostly I need to
make some patches.
