at how things are becoming in the us.

Excellent point. We have many folks in the US who stand behind the
right wing no matter what the administration and congress do.

Being critical has been positioned as anti-American, when in fact, one
of the basic precepts upon which our country was founded guarantees you
are allowed to voice your dissent freely.

There are those in this country who would like to take that right away,
especially in times of war.

This is the same country that put its own citizens in camps and took
their property simply because they were Japanese Americans. It's hard
to look at your own country and not feel defensive and we certainly have
a lot to be defensive about...
