The Spade is advertised to work in grass. The Bruce isn't.
The Spade just lays on its side and drags over the grass. Even when I
dived on it and stuck it into the bottom, it just flopped over and dragged.

I like it enough that I'm trying to trade my shiny new 35# stainless CQR
for a Spade A100 for my 27000# trawler. Anyone want to buy it?

35# CQR sounds undersized for a boat that heavy. No wonder you are not happy
with it.
