I know the Great Lakes can get rough, but you have posted here that you
stay close to shore and when you had your other boat, rarely left the
marina.
Harry, the beauty of boating on the Great Lakes is the scenery that you can
see as you travel the near shoreline. This is especially true in the North.
The upper Great Lakes are a cruisers paradise. The waters can get rough
on occasion but careful planning of a trip can take care of that. There
are numerous harbors of refuge all around the lakes. Harry, you should try
a cruise in the North Channel of Lake Huron. This area is ranked as one of
the best in the world. If you like fishing, then you would just love the
Great Lakes!
