Why the fuss over Harriet?

Perhaps, but when he uses a fake clergyman to do his bidding, one has to
wonder if he understands the word "conservative", the label for the people
who seem most concerned about his choice of Miers.
"Fake" clergyman?
Ok, whats a "real" clergyman?
Analogy: I could probably install a new window in my house. While doing it,
I'd be a "window installer". But, I would not suggest to the world outside
of my property that I am, in general, a "window installer".
My real definition: When a member of the clergy gets bigger than his/her own
parish, they become fakes, in my opinion. There are rare exceptions, but
Dobson's not one of them for a number of reasons. Thomas Merton was an
exception because he obviously spent more time in his head, thinking about
spirituality, and then shared it with the world in a way that made it clear
that everything was still a mystery. Harold S. Kushner is another.
"Focus on the Family"? Nice use of a popular and overused verbal hook,
useful for selling stuff.
