Wave heights 38.1 feet, barometric pressure 28.04 inches and still
falling. Unbelievable. Usually the buoys break loose or stop working
before conditions get to this point.

:Now quit posting this stuff, or JimH and Smithers will claim you are
:"unbelievable", because you like science and data. They'll claim that
:you think it's great that hundreds may die, etc.

For you Kevin. Study up because there will be a quiz later on:
http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=3Dunbelievable
http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=3Dcool
And for you, it was *real* cool that the barometer was bottoming out and
that the wave heights we so high.
This hurricane is indeed unbelievable. It is certainly not *real cool*.
Got it?
Man, you ARE a dumb ****, aren't you?? YOU are the idiot that doesn't
get it! Let me try yet again to get it through you **** ant sized
brain. Sitting here, watching data come to me directly from buoys in
the Gulf of Mexico is VERY cool. And yes, the watching the hurricane
itself is cool. Hasn't harmed a person yet. As a matter of fact, I
watched the video of the hurricane guys fly into the eye of it. One of
them said something like the eye wall of this thing is amazing, I've
never seen another one as well defined. Then, one of the data takers
behind him said, as close to verbatim as I can remember, when we got to
the wall, the barometer just FELL, this is cool, almost surreal.....
Are those that do this for a living "unbelievable"? Are the many, many
meteorologists that are studying this thing terrible because they are
doing so? Your trouble is you are so damned obsessed with me, that
every thing I say you take negatively. I never ever, said I thought
that loss of life and property was "cool". But, again, sitting here
watching it IS cool. If you don't think so, don't ****ing watch it!
