Your local scrap metal dealer will have a scale, and will usually weigh
you for a reasonable fee ($5 to $10 is typical). That's what I did
when I was trying to determine whether or nor the boat and trailer were
within the limits of my truck. It also gives you a starting point for
adjusting tongue weight.


Go to the local dump. they will tell you what it weighs, no fees normally.
Only a fee if you need a certified weight.
