The major yacht clubs here monitor 68 or 69. Usually it is for the club
boat to transport sailors from moorings to the dock....or for visiting
boats requesting dock/mooring space.

I know this, but I don't know why 68 and sometimes 69 have evolved to
be "yacht club O.O.D/mooring" frequencies. I don't believe it's
"official", as are channels 9, 12, 13 and 16.
