JimH,
It looks like Harry is upset because you are spending more time on your
boat in one week, than Harry has all season.

The homes were nice, the lighting may not have been perfect, but really
bothered Harry is you made an on topic posts.

You are cluttering up his NG with the on topic crap, now stop it. ; )

They aren't all that impressive.

I don't want to be critical...but most of those pictures were too
dark.
JimH probably isn't allowed in that ritzy neighbourhood in the light
of day.

The pics were taken in full sunlight using a HP Photosmart R707, 5.1 mp.
Yes, most turned out dark. I will have to practice a bit more with this
camera. It was one of the first times I used it.

I certainly rate those homes as impressive. Most folks would too. But I
guess Krause has demanding standards. After all, look at his custom
built 36 foot Zimmerman style lobster boat.

Oh, I forgot.............. no one has ever seen that boat. Hee-hee.

Almost any primer on photography will explain how to compensate for the
lighting extremes most of us encounter when taking snapshot-type
pictures.

As for the houses in those photos, no, they don't impress me. It's not a
matter of money or size, it is a matter of architecture, siting and
location.

Wally, a regular here, lives on the Lake. For all I know I may have caught
a picture of his house.

I can guarantee you that I have put more hours on my boat since August 26th
(our first time taking the boat out after the purchase on August 25th) than
several of the "Obsessed with JimH" club members here.

I love the fact that one member in particular had nothing nice to say about
the photo's or the houses in them. I chalk it up to nothing more than pure
jealousy.

I see you had a great day on the water today also. Good for you!
