Up for the season??
The big wind season is just starting here. Anyone who calls himself a
sailor has been waiting for this.
The 'skipper' that I crewed with in years past called. He's all excited
about getting back into a 36 footer. yesterday he picked me up in his
new Mercedes 4 seater convertible to go look at a boat in a club across
the harbour. I tried to convince him to look at something a bit smaller
with a big cockpit because of his need to invite too many people along
to wine & dine on our sails. He's spending too much time stateside
selling clothing. It's always...'gotta go bigger' mentality where the
true Maritimer would scheme to get the most use/enjoyment out of the
least expense.

Harry says he's got a 36'er. Have you ever been out in it?
