They also used to flood Clewiston a lot. The same hand wringing we
have in New Orleans went on there.



Read a newspaper article about Galveston, Texas and their hurricane back
in 1900. Seems Galveston was a more important city back then but after
all the damage, a lot of businesses left and setup in Houston.
Wonder if same will happen in New Orleans in favour of Baton Rouge.
