It is NOT legal in FL or anywhere else in the USA. Did you miss the
part about 265 to 390 feet? Not even the new "hold your ground" statue
in FL (and other states) allows this. If you expect to adopt the
position that it is reasonable, legal, and moral to arm yourself to
the teeth and kill unarmed people in self defense at over 100 yards,
you not only lose all credibility, but are proving the anti-gun nuts
correct about justification of a wild west mentality.

No, I wouldn't shoot the police. I'd listen to their orders, and then I'd
let the courts deal with the legalities later on.
