Try it. As you enter the store, and the salesperson runs up to you asking
if they can help you, (even before the chimes on the electronic sensor on
the door have faded), ask for a full wave bridge rectifier, 50 volts, 5-10
amps and a PIV rating of 600 volts or so.

Then watch the glaze form in his eyes.

Radio Shack just ain't the same as it was years ago.
