Any comments, good, bad, or ugly about Neil Pryde headsails?
Gordon
Ask not for whom the terrorist bell tolls; it tolls for thee, and thee, and
thee--for decent, innocent people everywhere.
Neil Pryde was the OEM sailmaker for O'Day boats. When we needed new sails,
we looked at many but felt that Neil Pryde could fgive us the best product
at the best price for our kind of sailing of an O'Day 37. We have had an
excellent relationdhsip with them over many years. We have heard them knocked
because the sails are made in China. So what? The detailing is excellent and
the workmanship tops and we are very pleased with a main, two jibs and a
spinnaker. When the suncover on the genoa needed restitching, rather than
send it back to Neil Pryde (which we do for winter storage, cleaning and
touch up), Pryde recommended we take it to a sailmaker closer to home, i.e.,
City Island. UK got the job at Neil Pryde's suggestion.
