Well, the Yukons have nothing to do with sports and I'm not sure what
their argument for buying them was. I guess they just wanted them.

to own anything we want, no matter what effect its use has on society at

You may be giving too much credit where it's not due at all. I don't think
the idea of anything other than "Ooh, cool car, I want one." was involved.
