I have to agree. When you see all the suffering, you want it to be over
yesterday, but this is immense and it's not just New Orleans. I was in S.
Florida, shortly after Andrew. What struck me was the simple things. The
locals were getting lost because the landscape had changed so much, forget
street signs. I can't imagine the difficulty in accessing a urban lake.
Tensions are high and things may not be going smoothly, but I guarantee
it's not for lack of effort. No one down there is dragging their feet.
