While I agree there is plenty of blame to go around, I'm curious why the
previous administrations are at a level below this administration? It's
true, Clinton trimmed funding for New Orleans' levees, but then, so did
Bush. Equal blame, no?
Both administrations made the cuts they thought best at the time. Were
they right? Hindsight says definitely not, but then, none of us are
without blame, either. I can't recall anyone here saying they would be
willing to pay more in taxes to avoid those cuts. I know I didn't.
There are no free lunches. You put your money down, and you take your
chances.
As I have said all along let's stop with the blame game for now.....it
serves no purpose.....plenty of time for it after this disaster is under
control.
