You might try Google Search uk.rec.boats.paddle. They are in Britain.
That is a little used news group but links to others. As the BCU is the
oldest kayak club i know of they should be a great source.
nf.paddling in Newfoundland canada is a good one as well , but it is
mostly local issues.
