Talk about a different world.
Here in Newfoundland we have had three sea kayaks recovered from the
ocean two in the last week. ( Only the first we have tied to an owner .
)
Local tour groups ( O'Briens', Gatherall's, Stan Cook's other boaters )
are huntin the waters for the owners of the two sealutions found
drifting.
When I am in Bay Bulls or Cape Broyle I stop in on the outfitters just
to say Hi and get the low down. Should things go pear shaped I can call
on chanel 10 or 16 and get a private tour boat to help me in minutes. A
CCG rescue boat would take hours.
It the B & B is on a private well with low water I can see restrictions
on water use, I can see the B & B not wanting extra people in their
house if they have issues. What you are describing is simply revolting,
destructive to the area, sport, tourism, moral, etc. etc.
Hard to believe.
