OK - for diesel also consider to add a desiccant air filter on the vent
line to adsorb water vapor when the tank 'breathes' ... will prevent
water condensation and premature aging of the fuel. You can get these
cannisters from an air compressor supplier. They contain silica gel
with a bit of colored silica gel that turns from blue to pink when
saturated with water and need to be regenerated .... and then simply
put the gel in an oven at 350 deg. for 6 hours to regenerate. Then
you dont have to keep a full tank of diesel fuel. Diesel only has a
shelf life of about 6 months at 30 deg. C ... so the less you store the
less will go 'bad' and the less problems youll have with particles,
fungus growth, blocked filters, etc. etc. etc. etc.
