In response Mr. Santorum's asinine bill the NWS is proposing to modify its
policy with regard to competing with commercial services. Basically they
will take the concerns of the commercial services into consideration when
developing new product but will not restrict public access to the data and
analysis. You can read the old and new policy statements and make comments
