Syd,

If the AH3000 you have has NMEA input (I know this exists in the 3000+
but am not sure of other) you are set already.

If it has a Seatalk input (it should) then go to Peter Bennett's site

Find: NMEA Hardware and look around -
I remember one of the manufactures offers a box that has Seatalk
capability, but O don't remember much more than that.

It is going to cost 3-400$us but it is worth it.

You will end up doing some wire-by-number by yourself.
You will also have to setup the Garmin for NMEA output.
