John, I appreciate the fact that without pondscum or the threat of
pondscum, real or imaginary, you would have been unemployed for most of
your adult life, and I'm suprised you don't. If there are no pondscum,
why the hell would you need soldiers?

You oughta come by for firewood. You must have a real fireplace in that
house of yours. We don't...just got gas fireplaces.

Nope. It seems like I'm the only guy in the neighborhood that will actually
split his own wood, so I get the benefit of lots of wood whenever a big oak is
removed. Got a couple cords or so in the back yard now. No more room.
