Default OT--Not again! More Chinese money buying our politicians.

Sometimes even the best of us step in a pile of ****! Like I said, I

Yep... and this is just one of a long list of little piles that
President Bush has stepped in (although IMHO Cheney is pushing 90% of
this administration's agenda). How 'bout that energy policy? The
environment? Tax cuts for the super rich?

BushCo decided on war against Iraq years ago... certainly before the
Spet 11 attacks, possibly right after he was elected. Certainly the "New
American Century" group has pushed it since before the 2000 election,
and they include some people with tremendous influence in this
administration. The thing that they were hiding is that there was plenty
of intelligence *against* war in Iraq, not that there were overwhelming
reasons *for* it.

One of our differences is that you are making excuses and trying to make
cast the best light on Bush, and I see him as a dispicable hypocrit
and shameless money grubber. He began his pattern of outrageous lies
during his campaign, and he hasn't stopped... for that matter, he hasn't
even slowed down! Remember when he promised to be a uniter, not a divider?

One of Bush's first acts as President was to sign an Executive Order
overturning previous rules about secrecy of Presididential (and also
VIce Presidential) papers & material... significantly including tapes
and computer files. This was a slap in the face to the principle of an
open democracy. The Bush Administration is the most secretive ever. And
if you are fond of Biblical principles, who are the ones that "hateth
the light?"
