What I am saying is exactly what I said. No one, not even the candidate,
expected the vet to win in that backwards GOP district. The fact that he
pulled more than 45% of the vote is very, very telling.

Yeah. It tells me that even if you're a veteran, and even if you run
misleading ads suggesting that Bush endorses you, you can't win an election
in most of America if you have a (D) after your name. Of course, you can
thank the liberal extremists in your party for leaving such a stigma of
ill-repute on every other Democrat.
