Amazing how little freeboard the BB's had. I fish next to it at times. Is
in the Moth Ball fleet anchoring area near Martinez.

I personally invite the USS Iowa to berth alongside the USS North
Carolina in the Cape Fear River in Wilmington, NC. In the 50's, we
school children collected money to save BB-55.

I feel the same protective spirit towards BB-61.
