I made up a rig for my old stripper and used some oars that have been
in the family for years. It went like stink.
It was fun but the oars turned the great canoe into a mediocre row boat
and a useless rowing skull. It ws fun and good in wind though.
I would do it again but I kayak now and if you want to go fast, turn on
a dime, handle rough seas; kayaking will likely serve you better that
oars.
