Kevin,
Take a deep breath and hold it .............. now slowly let the air out,
slowly counting to 10. Do you feel better now.

Most handles have either leather, rubber or plastic to provide better

grip.
They don't rust. I found over 100,000 hits recommending a light coat of

oil
or WD40 as an effective way to protect tools.

Yeap....my shop tools......drill press, lathe, etc, all recommend a light
coat of oil to protect against rust when not used continuously

Kevin,
It is best to wipe the metal parts with a light coat of oil, and not

put
it
on the handles or handle. If you have any other questions, let me

know.

Kevin,
If you keep a light coat of oil on your tools, they won't rust.

By the way, that must be real nice, trying to use a pair of pliers

that
have oil all over the handles....

Oh, so you allo the handles to rust, huh? What an idiot. You DO
realize, don't you, that oil will hold dirt, sand and other
contaminants, don't you? You do realize that dirt and sand are
abrasive, don't you?
