Breakfree is a great product, it is a light oil recommended for firearms but
also does a good job protecting tools from rust.

Kevin,
It is best to wipe the metal parts with a light coat of oil, and not put
it
on the handles or handle. If you have any other questions, let me know.

Kevin,
If you keep a light coat of oil on your tools, they won't rust.

By the way, that must be real nice, trying to use a pair of pliers that
have oil all over the handles....

Oh, so you allo the handles to rust, huh? What an idiot. You DO
realize, don't you, that oil will hold dirt, sand and other
contaminants, don't you? You do realize that dirt and sand are
abrasive, don't you?

I spritz a little BreakFree CLP on the working portions of tools, and let
it dry. I keep the handles wrapped in terry towels, and the tools in a
drybox.
