If the boat never makes it in the water, you won't have to spend a lot on
maintenance and repairs.

John,
Can you imagine not being able to find a pair of pliers, and making a
post
in rec.boats. Seems like another excuse to make up a story about what
wonderful toys Harry owns. ; )

I have to ask:

What will a $100 pair of pliers do that a $15 pair wont' do?

How can you lose a tool that you use on your boat, how far can it go?

Is it possible this is just another one of those stories you like to
tell?

They look real pretty mounted in a frame over the fire place?

If I'd spent almost $100 for a pair of pliers, I'd be too embarrassed to
tell
anyone, unless I was a braggart of course.

You spend more on repairing your boat in a year than I spend on fishing
gear in five.

If I spend $1000/year on repairs, for how many years can I repair my boat
and
spend less than the cost of a new Parker that spends its life on a
trailer?
