Common-sense wise, it is very hard for me to believe that you could run a
water jet dry without ruining it.

I mean, fish can't breathe air, birds can't fly in water, land animals
can't breathe water, airplanes can't fly underwater, and submarines can't
fly in air.

Just my quick thoughts on the topic.
