It was about 2 yrs ago. He made a post from his sock puppet "a lurker in
rec.boats". They went on to have a conversation about his boat, where the
sock puppet saw his boat and the restaurant they both ate in, where they
filled up with gas etc.

Someone then noticed that the only other time the sock puppet made a post
was in alt.test. Someone else noticed that the IP from the sock puppet and
Harry's IP were one and the same.
