No. We had a skiff of snow yesterday, maybe 1/16" of an inch that
covered the blacktop, but then it just got colder. We have a "chance" of

accumulation to 6".
Ice pellets?
What the hell are ice pellets? Is that the new politically correct name
for...sleet?
I guess. The METAR's PE definition is for both frozen rain drops or
semi-melted and refrozen snowflakes. A rose by any other name is sleet
in my book.
We were supposed to have freezing rain. It has been snowing hard
since about 7AM and is a really dry snow since the temperature hasn't
gone past 20 deg. They are holding off the pellets and ice until this
PM and through tomorrow PM. Accuweather makes it look like the precip
is almost ready to overtake you. It is almost a whiteout looking out
my back door towards the woods.....
We got some snow overnight. About 7" is now sitting on my driveway, and
we're supposed to get some freezing rain later this morning.
