"Forced to land" for an overnight in Atlantic City? Hah!! Reminds me of
when I was in the AF in Colorado. AF/Navy/Marine training flights would
use Buckley ANGB as a destination. Amazing how many of those suffered
mechanical problems on late Friday afternoons in the winter -- and just
happened to have skis and other accoutrements tucked away somewhere on the
airplane! :-)

I know military pilots that used to keep their flying hours up by making
trips up to Pease Airforce Base in NH, just a few miles from the lobstoer
vendors.
