I have to admit, I paid very little attention to the anonymous folks. Most of
their stuff I never even opened. Too many names I didn't recognize. If someone
was calling names, then I'm not in favor of it. You've decided to align yourself
with one of the worst name-callers in the group. That's your choice, but a lot
of the anti-Krause stuff rubs off on those who hang on his every word. It's not
right that it rubs off, but it does. When you back up every post he makes,
you're approving of all his name-calling.
And this guy, though anonymous, didn't get your attention?
Does that extend to me? Bet you have me killfiled.
I have a left leg that is 1/2" shorter than my right because of a gook
bullet. I have a permanantly numb right foot and lower leg because of a
small piece of gook mortar shrapnel to the lower back that fractured a disk
and finally put me out of the real action. Still, I am quite pysically fit
and have never thought of myself as handicapped. No limp, and I just got
used to the numbness.
I do have many bad memories that still remain with me.

Were you in the military?

Nope, this is the first time I saw it.
Yes, I retired in 1991 after 28 and a half years. Army Corps of Engineers.
Bless you then.
My Grandfather was a bomber pilot in WW2, my great uncles were all in the
Air Force in WW2. None are living now. My dad was a fighter pilot in
Vietnam. He never came home. I can just barely remember him.
Bless all the soldiers that risk our lives for us!

Very, very sorry to hear about your dad. He is one of the one's being honored at
the Rolling Thunder rally in Washington, DC today. The folks are expecting
300,000 motorcycles downtown. My neighbor and I were planning to go, until I
told the wife last night. She went through the roof, reminding me about a wedding
one of her friends' sons is having.
Gosh, I just can't wait to go to a damn wedding for someone I don't even know!
Luckily, there'll be a Rolling Thunder next year.
