Grady White experts - why the anomaly?
Below are the performance specs for the 228 Grady White with the F200 Yamaha
followed by those with the F225 Yamaha. The data seem to indicate the F200 is a
better performer. The recommended cruise RPM is 4000, but the F200 is *faster*
than the F225. There is about a 360lb difference in the accessory weight (from
something??), but would this account for the difference?
Also, what's the simple difference between a Yamaha 200 HPDI and the current
engines. Is the HPDI a two or four stroke? I'm looking at an ad for a 2001 GW
228 w/Yamaha 200 HPDI engine for $31865.
