Benefit,,, to who ? The union worker (not all workers) are the only people
who benefit from their unreasonable demands. The firm suffers as well as the
economy suffers. Not to mention ununionized jobs which is probably 80% of

Give your head a shake here there basskisser, there are labor laws and there
are workers with brains. What your saying here is you need someone to hold
your hand, make your decisions, or you have no skills or knowledge to find
work down the road where the employer doesn't treat you like that. Besides,
any employer who treats their employees like that, usually is left with high
training fees, high turnover, uncompetitive situation and the market will
decide whether they stay in business, not you the union worker.

Come on there Basskisser, union workers have their birthdays off with pay,
extra long weekends with pay, everything with pay, and their performance has
been reduced also with every collective agreement. Where else can someone
make 50,000.00 U.S. plus per year for a non education job, just working on
the line with no skills required should not allow you this type of
compensation. Some unionized workers with CAW or UAW make upwards towards
100,000.00 per year, and those may be the floor sweepers who have seniority.
No, this is wrong, the market should decide and look is what is happening
now with firms leaving daily. You greedy unions are to blame for the
migration of jobs and tax paying firms leaving for more friendlier
environments with more cooperative labor.

you, did your employer also steal your wife? Wow, do you have an axe to
grind with the boss. Tell me, why would you work for someone who doesn't
care if you lose a limb, then doesn't pay the medical costs, then demands
your back on the job that afternoon. Come on there Basskisser, do you not
have a mind of your own? Can you make your own employment decisions? Or do
you just do what the leader says, leader of the union, local brotherhood,
follower.

No, unions are to blame for the western troubles today. With 500billion
trade deficit and climbing, because of the greedy union workers the U.S.
will see trouble ahead. I agree with Bush's allowing of the Mexican
immigrants to become legal and work for employers under the country's labor
laws. They will pay taxes, the employer will remain and continue to pay
taxes and provide jobs, hey the world is going to globalization, so the
option is there.
Besides, these workers are not poisoned and provide a better product for the
firm. Studies have been found to show that scrap or defects have been
reduced greatly once the process moves to a more friendlier environment. I
have seen it, I saw an auto supplier, who made windshields for the Auto
Industry, had a scrap rate of 6% of their windshields, they moved from a
union environment where union workers controlled the plant, and made very
unrealistic earnings, they moved down to Mexico, the scrap rate went to .03%
and provided so much more value, especially to those who invest in that firm
for a ROI. Yes, these people are making changes. So the Unions must go, they
are bringing us down. Especially in the education system, do you know that
the student who enters the university or college level now cannot read or
write properly. I see the Asian students coming here to learn, and doing
huge circles around our domestic students, and you can blame the teacher's
unions for that. It is actually embarrassing. So much so that the schools
have had to separate the international students (not only from Asia) and
they also have reduced the learning material to equalize the scores.
