I just looked at the B&G site and from what I can gather from limited
information, the data strings are in NMEA format - which would mean
that RS232 would be a simple in/out function - the signal levels
should be approximately the same (but don't my word for it). It's
just a question of finding the right signal pair and building a cable
for it.

Thanks Tom. I was hoping it would be something that simple. I could do
that if I knew how to determine what pins in the NEMA plug to wire to
what pins in an RS232. Any ideas?

Pin One - Ground, Pin Two - Receive, Pin Three - Transmit
